AGEXPORT’s Contact Center & BPO Sector presents the magazine: “Five Years of Transforming Lives and Building Better Destinations“, in which they share the results of the employment training projects they have promoted in recent years.
During this time, more than 5,000 young people were trained, who have doubled the family income and benefited more than 45,000 people. In addition, of all the people trained, 82 percent were later employed in the Contact Center industry.
This result has been possible because of all the public-private alliances such as companies in the sector, government and cooperators. With this, many Guatemalans have been impacted, generating better living conditions for the beneficiaries, income for the State through taxes, and growth for companies and the economy, that way also avoiding migration to other countries.
The objective of the Contact Center & BPO Sector is that strategies like this one, multiply in the country for many more sectors and that these results serve as a catalyst for new projects, that allow the acceleration of the growth of new jobs, investment and well being, building a new Guatemala.
