AGEXPORT’s Food and Beverages commission organized, with support from the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), a course named “Preventive Controls for Human Consumption Foods following requirements of the Food Safety Modernization Act of the United States”.

The course is part of AGEXPORT’s actions to reinforce companies’ capabilities to sell food products in the United States and took place on October 29-31st, 2018 at AGEXPORT’s headquarters in Guatemala City.

A total of 36 companies participated at this course and learned about prevention programs that the FSMA Act requires for all food companies both of raw materials and finished goods.
