AGEXPORT’s Business Intelligence Unit designed projects for manufacturing companies

AGEXPORT’s Business Intelligence Unit developed three projects specifically designed to help Guatemalan manufacturing companies to connect with international clients.

Along with the staff of the different manufacturing commissions in AGEXPORT (Food and Beverages, Plastics and Diverse Manufacturing), we seek to help our members to connect with international clients through our “Connecting Best Markets” platform and also help them to be able to get in touch with key contacts worldwide; said Mr. Rodrigo Ruiz, head of AGEXPORT’s Business Intelligence Unit.

For companies of the Diverse Manufacturing Commission, the Business Intelligence Unit plans to organize visits and meetings with international buyers in the upcoming months and organize business rounds for Guatemalan businesses to be able to offer their tailormade products internationally.

For Food and Beverage companies, AGEXPORT plans to link businesses with the main supermarket chains present in Central America, the Caribbean and North America via online business meetings.

For companies of the Plastics Commission, the Business Intelligence Unit elaborated a study to learn about the trends and needs of international buyers and launched a special “market intelligence committee” to discuss the products and markets with highest potential.

Our Business Intelligence Unit offers key intelligence services for Guatemalan companies, as well as specific training on our digital platform “Connecting Best Markets”, with which our members can receive information on trends and opportunities for their products internationally while also allowing them to connect with potential international buyers; remarked Mr. Ruiz.
