to promote business and investment opportunities in the country as part of the “Guatemala Moving Forward” strategy. During the event, potential investors learned about the advantages that Guatemala offers as an export platform to supply important markets in the region and participated in networking activities with local authorities and businesspersons.

The event concluded with outstanding results:

The participants also had the opportunity to hear the investment experiences of two very successful companies already stablished in Guatemala. The CEO of Telus International, Jeff Puritt, shared how Guatemala has been a strategic partner for the growth of the company during the pandemic of COVID-19. The CEO for Latin America of Pepsico, Paula Santilli, shared how Guatemala has become an important hub in the region for the fabrication and distribution of food and beverages.

“More multinationals are finding in Guatemala a favorable investment environment for their nearshoring projects, due to its macroeconomic stability, competitive industrial costs, strategic location and the talent and productivity of our people.
