Ibero-American businessmen com to focus on the Sustainable Development Goals
Antigua Guatemala hosted on November 14 and 15th the XII Ibero-American Business Meeting.
The XII Ibero-American Business Meeting promoted a more prosperous and inclusive region by working on the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. It means keep betting on generating more employment opportunities as the way to contribute to economic and social development, said Mr. Antonio Malouf, president of AGEXPORT and head of the XII Ibero-American Business Meeting’s organizing committee.
Topics covered at the event included trade and investment as elements of prosperity and development, the digital ecosystem, women and economic power, sustainability as key element and the private sector contribution to the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
The Business Meeting displayed the key role that we as businessmen and women have in the construction of more solid societies and eliminate poverty. The event was a total success and it was possible thanks to the support ofl national and international organizations that trusted in Guatemala to organize an event of this magnitude, said Mr. Malouf.
