The Aquaculture and Fisheries Sector of the Guatemalan Association of Exporters -AGEXPORT- will carry out the Aquaculture Symposium in Guatemala “Achieving Sustainability through Innovation” in El Cerro de Santo Domingo, Antigua Guatemala, from May 22 to 24 2024. This Symposium corresponds to the third edition of the one held in June 2022, which was a complete success, exceeding expectations.
This event aims to continue sharing the progress, achievements, and challenges of the Guatemalan aquaculture industry, as well as learn about the most relevant challenges and trends in other countries to continue developing this industry. This Symposium will feature national and international speakers of recognized prestige in the world of aquaculture.
The Symposium is aimed at shrimp and tilapia farming, it will have more than 30 high-level speakers on aquaculture, and, in addition, a commercial exhibition area is planned for companies that provide equipment, products and inputs for use in aquaculture. Approximately 400 participants from different countries are expected to visit.
This event has the support of large and innovative national and international sponsoring companies that are a fundamental part of the promotion and development of the shrimp farming industry.
