For the invitation of the Embassy of Guatemala in the Dominican Republic and with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Economy, a delegation of 11 representatives of 7 companies from the AGEXPORT Food and Beverage Commission participated in Expo Provisiones 2022, in the Dominican Republic, where they made commercial business appointments with different foreign companies.
It is the first time that a special guest country has been designated in this event and this time it was for Guatemala. Among the AGEXPORT companies that participated are: YaEsta Food Products; H&H foods; Alpromase; Morcaff; Melgees Industries and Food Service.
Within the framework of the event, the ambassador, Javier Zepeda, received recognition for Guatemala from the hands of the Vice President of the Dominican Republic, Raquel Peña. In his words of thanks, Zepeda highlighted the importance of the trade relationship between the two countries.
