New flavors and health care among the main trends in the European market
In the last two years, the lifestyle of Europeans has undergone a significant change and has encouraged more consumers to lean towards a healthy and sustainable diet.
This change of mentality is a great opportunity for the Guatemalan agricultural sector, since the European market at the moment of consuming fresh products makes its choice mainly based on three factors: 1. Interest in new flavors, 2. Attention to health and 3. The improvements in packaging for transport.
“We have five companies belonging to the Agexport Agricultural Sector that will be at Fruit Logistica and that will surely be a good opportunity since products such as fresh fruit have 43% interest among buyers who attend, in addition to 28% of fresh vegetables. In the same way, the majority of visitors have leadership and management positions and at least 85% have positions related to acquisitions and purchases with power of decision”, added Teo.
Among the companies that will participate are Don Limón, Frutesa, UNISPICE, Molina Group and PILZSCHINLER. The Guatemalan stand Beyond Expectations and AGRITADE Will have m², where products from Guatemalan companies in the producing and exporting sector will be exhibited, which will stand out that the country has high standards of quality, safety, and competitiveness of each of our products in the agricultural area.
