Which are the most important US ports used to deliver Guatemalan products to this market?

On 2018, Guatemala shipped cargo to 30 different ports in the United States, according to information of Piers, a special bill-of-landing database from IHS Markit. The top 20 ports received 97.8% of containerized cargo. 54.8% of the cargo was shipped to products in the US East Coast, the one that also showed the highest growth rate. The Gulf Coast received 25.2% of the cargo, while the West Coast received 20%.

These are some of the main findings published on the latest edition of AGEXPORT’s Logistics Bulletin, a tool developed by AGEXPORT’s Competitiveness Department to keep exporting companies updated with different information related with air, ground and maritime logistics.
