Two days of virtual meetings in Guatemala to advertise export goods

As part of the innovations in doing businesses and generating international contacts, AGEXPORT’s Business Intelligence Unit will organize its first Virtual Business Round where Guatemalan companies will meet with international buyers interested in Guatemalan products.

This event is expected to be the largest virtual business meeting in the Central American region. With our one-of-a-kind platform and methodology, we expect to virtually link Guatemalan companies with more than 100 buyers in the US, Europe, Central American and the Caribbean, with transactions that could add up to more than US$5 million during the two days of the event; said Mr. Rodrigo Ruiz, head of AGEXPORT’s Business Intelligence Unit.

The methodology to be implemented at this event looks to create tailor-made agendas for each participating Guatemalan company, linking them with the international clients whose interests match the products offered by the companies.

This first Virtual Business Round will take place on November 5-6th, 2019 at AGEXPORT’s Headquarters (15 Ave. 14-72, zone 13, Guatemala City) and is specially developed for exporting firms of agribusiness and manufacturing products seeking to export to 11 different international markets.

Cardamom, coffee, macadamia nuts , broccolis, cashew nuts, frozen fruits and vegetables, bananas, plantains, different food and beverage products, health and beauty products, home and cleaning products, handcrafts and mass consumption products are some of the products on high demand by the international clients attending the event; said. Mr. Ruiz.
