This tool was developed by AGEXPORT’s Competitiveness Department as part of its strategy to ease business processes and was submitted to the Ministry of Environment and National Resources. The initiative received the support from USAID’s project “Creating Economic Opportunities” (CEO).
The six steps needed to follow to obtain a certificate of low impact on the environment are:
- 1 Visit the website: https://biaweb.marn.gob.gt/login
- 2 Register as a new user
- 3 Complete the registration form
- 4 Make the online payment
- 5 Receive a confirmation e-mail
- 6 Print the certificate
The platform will allow you to track the status of your request and add notes on the application as well as request extensions to the process.
