Manufexport 2020 launches its first virtual edition to support Guatemalan and Central American companies
Looking to take care of the health and safety of both visitors and exhibitors, Manufexport 2020 shifted from its normal on-site mode to a new virtual edition.
Our main goal is to support Guatemalan and Central American firms to come back from the economic downturn of 2020, which is why we are organizing this year’s Manufexport fair on our online platform “Connecting Best Markets”. Companies participating on this year’s fair will be able to hold at least 10 business meetings with 220 international buyers that are looking specifically for manufacturing products; said Mr. Francisco Menendez, chairman of Manufexport’s Organizing Committee.
For this year’s edition, Manufexport will have supermarkets and distributors from the United States, Central America, Mexico and the Dominican Republic among its group of buyers. These buyers are interested in manufacturing products like home cleaning, hygiene and personal care, plastics, cosmetics, food and beverages, pharmaceutical products, among others.
With this new mode for Manufexport 2020 and the special platform we will be using, the fair will last for two months. Business meetings will start in July and companies will be able to manage their meetings from their workplaces; said Mr. Menendez.
Companies wanting to participate on this online event will enjoy different benefits, including preferential rates to ship samples to potential buyers as well as advertisement on different online platforms.
As well, AGEXPORT will organize different “Manufexport Days”, where manufacturing firms will learn about different consumption trends, including e-commerce, digital marketing, export-related regulations, international prices, among others.
