AGEXPORT’s Business Intelligence Unit is organizing a trade mission from September 16-19th, 2019 to Texas, USA, to identify new opportunities for Guatemalan products and strengthen existing trade relations with this key market; said Mrs. Sara Santiago, North American Market Coordinator at AGEXPORT.
This trade mission is targeted for agriculture companies, as well as companies that offer products of mass consumption, with interest to start exporting to the United States or use the US as an entry point to other North American markets.
According to AGEXPORT’s Market Intelligence Unit, among the most important products that Guatemala ships to Texas are packaged beans (14%), fresh plantains (14%) and fresh bananas (10%).
Businesses participating on our trade mission will have the opportunity to meet with strategic allies in Texas, organize business meetings with potential buyers and learn how products are being sold on different supermarkets; said Mrs. Santiago.
