AGEXPORT’s Food and Beverages Commission looking to ease business processes and improve companies’ competitiveness
AGEXPORT’s Food and Beverages Commission displayed on its Annual Meeting the projects being implemented in 2020 to strengthen the competitiveness of its companies.
Our 2020 strategy is mainly built around four pillars: make it easier for our companies to do businesses internationally, establish key alliances, increase the representativeness of our companies in different key institutions and work to develop the competitiveness of our members. This, in turn, will increase exports of our companies; said Mrs. Sylvia Menendez, president of AGEXPORT’s Food and Beverages Commission.
Apart from the main projects established for 2020, the commission will also work on providing key services for Guatemalan businesses and continue organizing “Business Days” to link exporters of food and beverages with buyers from Central America and Mexico.
Even though we plan to work on different new projects this 2020, we will continue implementing our segmentation strategy, providing special services based on the size of our companies. Among our Food and Beverages Commission we have different categories like Expo 101, Expo Asist and Expo KAM; said Mrs. Menendez.
