AGEXPORT developed Health and Security Protocols for exporting companies

AGEXPORT’s Competitiveness Department developed specific protocols on health and security in the workplace, to be implemented by exporting firms due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These protocols were published on the latest edition of AGEXPORT’s Labor Bulletin.

Following the policies implemented by the Guatemalan government to protect the health of all citizens, we developed our General Protocol for Exporting Companies, which guarantees that all companies protect their employers from the pandemic, said Mrs. Ana Lucia Contreras, Legal Advisor of AGEXPORT’s Competitiveness Department.

This protocol was developed to be implemented by all exporting companies and covers different health measures to reduce the risk of their employees being infected with COVID-19.

This document is based on the National COVID-19 Plan and the guidelines established by the Health Ministry and the World Health Organization. It also follows all other national and international regulations regarding COVID-19. We hope it helps all our companies to know the actions they need to take during the pandemic period; said. Mrs. Contreras.
