AGEXPORT held a farewell ceremony for the director of USAID, Mrs. Anupama Rajaraman, who has been working in Guatemala for just over 4 years. Mrs. Rajaraman, like the directors of USAID who preceded her, left a mark beyond the part of promoting the productive capacities of small producers.
The impact of USAID cooperation in the export sector of non-traditional products has been transcendental, mainly in the generation, growth and strengthening of value chains. And, recently as part of the ASPIRE project consortium that together with UVG, MIT, AGEXPORT, it will be a bridge between productive sectors to detect research needs and to promote the transfer and adoption of technology in clusters with the potential to generate employment and economic growth.
Each USAID official with whom we have had the honor of strengthening this alliance has had an impact on the transformation of communities, and for this reason we wanted to take advantage of this moment in which Mrs. Rajaraman says goodbye to Guatemala, thanking the entire USAID team the support and trust of more than 4 decades
AGEXPORT is convinced that Mrs. Rajaraman, in the new spaces she occupies, will continue to leave a mark in the transformation of realities and communities.
