AGRITRADE 2019 calls all suppliers of fresh, frozen and ready-to-eat food to display their products to 150 international buyers

Guatemalan producers and businessmen will display a brand-new range of agriculture products at the 19th edition of AGRITRADE Expo & Conference, including: blueberries, blackberries, cherries, raspberries, avocados, coffee, limes, mini vegetables, zucchinis, green beans, snow peas and ornamental plants. With the development of new Guatemalan products, the country expects to exceed the US$1.1 billion exported on 2018.

AGRITRADE Expo & Conference is the largest platform to promote agriculture exports in Latin America. It seeks to increase agriculture exports by increasing international businesses for companies along the agriculture value chain. That is why we call small and medium agriculture producers, suppliers of raw products and logistics companies to become part of the 180 stands on the exhibition floor of AGRITRADE 2019 and establish direct contact with the more than 150 international buyers that will attend the event, said Mr. Estuardo Castro, president of AGRITRADE’s organizing committee.

The event will have three business rounds, which include: 1) producers and exporters; 2) international chains and exporters; and 3) international buyers and exporters. With this in mind, AGRITRADE’s organizing committee calls all Guatemalan companies related with agriculture, including frozen, ready-to-eat, pre-cut and pre-packaged products to participate in AGRITRADE Expo & Conference 2019.

AGEXPORT’s Business Intelligence Unit has already confirmed the participation of buyers from Spain, Chile, Canada and England. We have also invited important supermarkets and distributors from Canada, the United States, Central America, Chile, Europe and Israel. Among the 150 international buyers expected to attend the event, 80% will be first-time attendees at AGRITRADE Expo & Conference, remarked Mr. Castro.

The 19th edition of AGRITRADE Expo & Conference will take place in Santo Domingo Hotel in Antigua Guatemala from March 21-23, 2019. All companies interested in participating in the event or wanting more information, please contact Mrs. Ruth Estrada at (502) 2422-3618 or at ruth.estrada@agexport.org.gt
